Field Coordinator

Major Activities

  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the project’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
  • Pass on information from project manager to field officers to employees and vice versa
  • Prepare and submit performance reports
  • Ensure adherence to legal policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises

  • Good management and administrative skills.
  • Diplomacy, tact, negotiating, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills (English & Arabic –required)
  • Must have cross-cultural sensitivity, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Good team building skills, Acquire a creative, innovative, and adaptability personality.
  • Ability to cope and work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural and difficult / sensitive contexts.
  • Familiarity with the culture of the affected population, ability to develop respect from a wide range of people and strong ability to communicate effectively on hygiene and safety matters.
  • Team player who is able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good computer skills
