The Church of Sweden’s Middle East programme aims to contribute to safeguarding religious diversity in the region as well as supporting churches to be a safe and democratic space. The Church of Sweden believes in every person’ own ability and right to take responsibility for and realize their own lives. At the same time, we are convinced that when people organize themselves and act together, they have a greater scope for demanding their rights.
