Responsibilities
The M&E Officer plays a key role in project activity implementation.
Under the supervision of the Project Manager and the M&E Coordinator, the Field Officer will manage remotely the work of the field team, following up on the activity as per Action Plan and ensuring that they adhere to the correct project methodology as per LogFrame and Internal Monitoring Framework.
- They M&E Officer will be in charge of collecting and running compliance check for all invoices, receipts and official documents related to the financial movements within the framework of the project;
- The M&E Officer will contribute to project’s official reporting.
The M&E Officer will report directly to the Project Manager and the M&E Coordinator.
Requirements
To successfully perform the job, the candidate must meet the requirements listed below:
- To hold a bachelor degree in project management, development or social studies or any other related field;
- To have experience in remote management, preferably with NGO background;
- To have at least 3 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, and a strong knowledge of Project Cycle Management;
- To demonstrate organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills;
- To handle working under pressure and with tight deadlines;
- To present evidences of previous experience working in projects related with the Syrian crisis;
- To have computer literacy skills with regards to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and preferable experience with KoBo.
- To have spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic.
