 Work description:

• Is an expert staff of the project team responsible for providing professional educational program for vulnerable Lebanese youth and Syrian refugee youth (16 – 26 years old) in Tripoli. The courses are targeting unemployed young people (at least 40 % female) showing a high level of motivation.
• Based on the certified expertise, the trainer teaches the basics of house painting. The position involves teaching 8 hours a week on Friday, Saturday or both for a duration of 10 weeks. Classes will take place in the premises of the educational centre, and the equipment will be provided.
• Prepare teaching program/curricula and evaluation tools.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Relevant technical degree, verification, certificate or license for carrying out the craft
• At least 2 year experience in working with apprentices ideally as a part of vocational educational programs for youth
• Fluency in Arabic language and good communicative, social skills especially when working with youth, English is an asset
• The hability to teache creative or artistic painting could also be an asset
• Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
