Homework Support teacher

Contract duration:  02/2019 – 06/2020

Work place: Tripoli, Lebanon

Payment:  according to budget rates

Work description:

• Supports students studying at different Lebanese Public school in different grades.
• Creates a safe and productive learning environment based on interactive approach which supports the learning process
• Maintains the equipment and education space in good conditions
• Assesses academic results of students (through pre and post test) and maintain relevant documentation and prepares records on students’ progress and communicates with parents on individual basis
• Participates on project team meetings and meetings with parents and trainings of teachers
• Supplements classes of missing teachers when necessary
• Other relevant activities assigned by the Manager of child education or educational centre Coordinator

Required level of education, qualifications and skills:

• Graduate of higher education (e.g. Master) with in progess or completed degree
• Fluency in Arabic language, good command of French language and English is an asset
• 1 - 2 years of proven practice in physical classrooms with more than 10 children Great critical and analytical thinking , problem problems  and communication skills
• Experience in work with children younger than 10 years old
• Experience in working with vulnerable children from refugee community
• Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
