Community Health Supervisor - Beirut and Mount Lebanon

The community health supervisor is the frontline staff involving in supervising a team of community volunteers and leading them to implement community health activities in the different areas.

  1. Establish and maintain a daily schedule of activities for community health workers
  2. Conduct daily visits to informal settlements and/or community shelters/centers where the community health program is implemented
  3. Participate in community health activities including, but not restricted to, health awareness group sessions, home visits and distributions
  4. Coach and support community health workers in utilizing data collection and monitoring tools
  5. Supervise performance of community health workers using standard checklists and reporting forms and identify learning/training needs
  6. Act as a focal point between community health workers and the closest supported primary health care facility (point of referral)
  7. Collect and manage referrals from community health workers to health facilities and monitor outcomes
  8. Provide detailed reports to Community Health Officer on a weekly basis
  9. Develop relationships with local actors and community leaders as well as with other departments within IMC
  10. Assist in developing materials and visual aids for the program
