Facilitator

Major Responsibilities:

• Identify safe spaces to provide parenting skills that adhere to the quality checklists for center-based and outreach activities shared at the inter-agency level.
• Identify caregivers in need of CB PSS (parenting skills) in line with inter-agency selection criteria.
• Identify Community Focal Points and members of Community Based Groups to deliver CB PSS as facilitators.
• Deliver CB PSS (parenting skills) to caregivers.
• Ensure that all caregivers accessing CB PSS and identified as being at high risk are referred to focused PSS and case management.
•  Support the logistics and procurement processes needed for the implementation of CB PSS and Community events.
• Maintain positive relations with local implementing actors, local authorities and other international and local stakeholders.
• Assist in the organization and implementation of awareness sessions for children and adolescents when needed.

• Ensure the proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) during the sessions (attendance sheets, parental consent, referrals, observations etc.…)
• Participate in training as required (e.g. Safe Identification and Referral, Dealing with Disclosures, community engagement etc.)
• Support the inclusion men and women caregivers with special needs.
• Schedule the activities with caregivers producing daily, weekly and CB PSS activity schedules.
• Perform any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the CP officer/team leader
