War Child is an independent and impartial international non-governmental organization investing in a peaceful future for children and young people affected by armed conflict. We strive to empower children and young people while enabling adults to bring about positive and lasting changes in the lives of children and young people affected by conflict.

Purpose of the Internship

War Child – Lebanon is currently searching for and IT student/graduate for an internship.

War Child will provide the hands on technical IT support, learning experience for its interns with regards to:

• Setting up equipment such as laptops, and other specialist ICT equipment, ensuring that systems are ready for use and functioning properly;
• Installing of new software and hardware when needed;
• Working to and give guidance to others on various IT matters;
• Conducting field visits to support in data collection.

Requirements

1. Should be available at least twice per week for the duration of the internship (3 months).
2. Should be an IT, Computer Science, Computer and Communication Engineer etc. student/ graduate.
3. Has Android Knowledge
