Call For Mentors

Rural Entrepreneurs is currently looking for volunteer mentors who are interested to mentor youth/teams with idea to early-stage startups.

Mentorship at Rural Entrepreneurs is about supporting teams who have undergone startup and social impact enterprise training, developed a business plan and began marketing or selling their products. 

Volunteer mentors will be assigned a team to guide through their entrepreneurial and go-to-market journey. Mentors are required to meet for 1.5 to 2 hours on a  bi-weekly basis for a total of 3 months (this equates to 6 meetings in total). Mentors may meet virtually but are recommended to meet in-person. The location of the meetings is at the GIL Lab in Semkaniyeh, Chouf, Lebanon (exceptions apply). Rural Entrepreneurs will provide free mentorship/coach training on best practices, program content, set goals, and program guidelines.  

Ideal volunteer mentor profile:
•    Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
•    Must be knowledgeable in developing business plans and the entrepreneurial cycle
•    Has experience in business, management and marketing (OR specific industry experience relevant to the startup)
•    Able to commit during a period of 3 months for 1.5 to 2 hours bi-weekly
