Lebanese Agricultural Engineer

Responsibilities:

Quick assessment of development interventions that were already implemented and completed. For these tasks the responsibilities consist of the following:

• • Conduct Desk review on the specific intervention indicated in the SOW.
  • Suggest as needed adjustments to questions mentioned in the SOW
  • Identify related Key informants and conduct necessary interviews.
  • Draft and submit a brief report summarizing the findings and related recommendations

Qualifications:

• The local expert should have at least 7 years of experience in any of the agriculture field, experience in more than subsector (beekeeping, plant production…) is an advantage.
• He /She should have good understanding of the structure, strengths and challenges facing the agricultural production sector in Lebanon and excellent technical skills.
• He/ She must hold an advanced degree in Agriculture; Ph.D. is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• He/ She should have demonstrated ability to undertake needed analysis.
• He/ She should be fluent in Arabic and English
• He/ She is expected to work closely with the PMSPL II team.
