Youth Engagement Officer

INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become the entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy.

The Short-term assigned Youth Engagement Officer will be based in Mount Lebanon, INJAZ Lebanon Dekwaneh office and will be in charge of:

1. Working directly with University Students and engaging them with INJAZ Lebanon activities
2. Maintaining positive relationship and communication with beneficiaries
3. Support in developing a student engagement strategy, collaborating closely with INJAZ Lebanon’s team
4. Organizing info sessions and workshops and coordinating between INJAZ team members, Community Centers and beneficiaries
5. Updating the database of students constantly
6. Performs other tasks as assigned by the line manager

The short-term assignment will be over 7 months, starts on March 01, 2020 and ends on September 30, 2020.

Position Qualifications:

• Outgoing and people oriented
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Previous experience as campus focal point preferable
• Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask in a timely manner, team player
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
• Proficiency in MS Office; specially in excel is essential
