English Trainer - Shatila

General Responsibilities: 

• Assess the baseline level of participants (staff at Shatila Studio)
• Design a lesson plan for the three months training to bridge the gaps in the knowledge of participants
• Deliver the practical training sessions 
• Establish and maintain a monthly and weekly work plan in coordination with the Director of Shatila Studio 
• Fill in attendance sheets and inform the Director of Shatila Studio about the progress of the training and challenges faced on weekly basis
• Provide the Director of Shatila Studio with the list of materials and stationary needed for the training
• Provide a monthly update to the Director of Shatila Studio 
• Commit to effectively working and supporting participants (staff at Shatila Studio)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in teaching English as a second language is a must
• Understanding and sensitivity on issues affecting vulnerable communities particularly refugees
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Understanding of Shatila context is a plus
