Project Coordinator

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities for the Association’s Project Coordinator are to manage and oversee the quality and timely implementation of the projects and activities funded.

 

  • Develop Projects Strategies by breaking projects into doable action plans and Frameworks.
  • Ensure Projects adhere to Frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Monitor and maintain all projects plans, schedules, control budget and expenditures, follow up on procurement requests and coordinate all activities logistics.
  • Perform the day to day management and the implementation of the projects to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Compile, consolidate, and evaluate data on the project’s implementation and indicators to draft mid-year, and final year performance reports for running projects.
  • Report monthly to Director on the team performance and projects progress.
  • Liaise with the Director regarding amendments to the projects and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Provide support to the project team, through capacity building, evaluation and reporting.
  • Review Donors projects related documents and ensure that team are complying with regulations and donors requirements.
  • Coordinate with partners and stakeholders and participate in meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as required by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Management, business administration or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as project coordinator or office administrator.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic languages (Verbal and Writing).
  • Basic accounting skills for budget control.
  • Previous experience working in human rights organization is a plus.
  • Excellent level of computer literacy, including familiarity with all MS Office programs.
  • Personal commitment, flexibility, efficiency, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work and contribute to team building environment.
