Research Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

The research project coordinator will be responsible to coordinate all research-related activity corresponding to the above described project and will work directly with the E-Sahha Program coordinator.

Main responsibilities of the research project coordinator will include:

•  Securing ethical approval for the project
•  Coordinating with different engaged stakeholders
•  Overseeing data collection activities
•  Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
•  Organizing workshops, meetings and project related events
•  Preparing project-related presentations
•  Writing project reports and manuscripts

Qualifications 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications 

•  Post-graduate degree in a health-related field, with 3-4 years of research experience in global health sciences, public health, health systems, women’s health, or other related fields.
•  Relevant previous experience of working on research projects (qualitative and quantitative), with proven research outputs.
•  Experience in preparing research tools (surveys, questionnaires, interview guides) and completing all necessary documentation to ensure that research meets the ethical IRB guidelines
•  Advanced writing skills and excellent report writing, presentation, and documentation skills
•  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
•  Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic skills
•  Proven excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
•  Previous experience in a research environment
•  Public engagement experience is a plus
