- Implement social and legal interventions and strategies in coordination with the senior case manager (setting an action plan for each case and following up on it on a regular basis)
- Conduct preliminary meetings in order to collect anamnestic data (from parents and children and other stakeholders) and evaluate the family needs and resources’ availability
- Conduct periodic visits to the house to assess the status of the child and the family
- If necessary, refer families to appropriate services and other NGOs
- Prepare legal reports addressed to the Juvenile Judge
- Attend court hearings (Juvenile Court) and take notes during the hearing
- Attend investigations in the police station with a minor if needed
- Accompany a minor with ISF to a safe shelter or hospital or other determination based on the decision of the judge
- Communicate with the institutions in order to secure a placement for the child if needed (following up with the institution that received the child and his status, possibly visiting the institution that received the child to see his status etc.)
- Coordination with all parties or specialists assigned by the juvenile judge in the protection file (forensic doctor, psychiatrist .....).
- Holding a Hotline to receive calls about cases of violence against children, assessing the situation, applying for protection or informing the juvenile judge or the Public Prosecution
- Coordinate with the court Registry where requests for protection are received by the Court
- Prepare weekly schedules & coordinate with the senior case manager
- Update files, related SOP forms and alternative care forms
