Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator - Baladi Program

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Assist in providing strategic support in monitoring the progress, and evaluating the impact of BALADI Program.

DUTIES:

  • Design of data collection tools and forms with program team staff
  • Design data collection and analysis protocols for collecting qualitative and quantitative data using surveys, semi-structured interviews, focus groups… and support the development of easy-to-use forms, guides and interview agendas
  • Participate and coordinate with field workers to ensure the timely collection and analysis of all program performance data
  • Contribute to the documentation of program events such as meetings, workshops, etc.
  • Undertake visits to the field throughout the areas of intervention under BALADI projects as needed to support and/or supervise data collection or verify data quality
  • Participate in project activities, events and workshops
  • Maintain a data management system using Excel, Access, SPSS or other data management and analysis software
  • Collate, consolidate and prepare reports of program data, conduct basic data analysis and interpretation, as required for reporting
  • Provide regular verbal and written feedback on field observations and monitoring findings to the M&E Senior and relevant program staff
  • Ensure monitoring schedule, data collection targets, and reporting deadlines are obeyed to USAID rules and regulations
  • Assist in organizing BALADI events and follow up on all operations of project
  • Assist with all other duties as required by the M&E unit

SKILLS:

Business Skills

  • Skilled in Research and Analysis
  • Basic knowledge of current approaches to M&E in development programs
  • Aptitude to synthesize information from different sources
  • Capable of Critical evaluation and Problem solving
  • Good knowledge in M&E methodologies (frameworks, tools…)
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus
  • Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Efficiency under stress

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office – All applications

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in relevant field is desirable.
