IOCC is looking for Nurses who will be responsible for vaccinating children crossing the Lebanese-Syrian borders in Akkar and will be involved in data entry. The Nurse will also provide key messages on health and nutrition topics to the children and their caregivers including screening for COVID-19 symptoms.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Screen and vaccinate all children crossing the Akkar borders
- Enter data on a daily basis and submit them to MoPH IT.
- Cooperate with Data Entry Officers in case data was required to be verified and corrected.
- Prevent and combat the spread of infection in the health Center or field by applying all measures for disinfection and sterilization
- Provide key messages on health and nutrition topics to caregivers
- Attend IOCC-related staff meeting when required
- Perform any additional tasks as requested by the supervisor
- Screen all people crossing the borders for COVID-19 symptoms and refer the suspected cases
- Provide awareness and education to all people crossing the borders on prevention of COVID-19
Qualifications
- Fluency in reading/writing/speaking Arabic is necessary
- Good public speaking and communication skills
- Strong social, interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Team spirit
- Able to meet deadlines
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Experience required: 1 to 2 years
