Nurse - Arsal Isolation Center

In light of increasing its emergency response in Lebanon to support in the fight against COVID-19,

Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland is looking to fill the following positions for a COVID-19 Isolation Center in Arsal operating 24/7.        Those positions will be directly supporting the care of asymptomatic or mild COVID-19 patients:

2 Medical Doctors/General Practitioners  ·  15 Nurses  ·  3 Nurse Aids  ·  2 Counsellor Educators  ·  2 Community Health Workers

Upon hiring, selected candidates will receive a paid training of 1 week. After that, working contracts will be established only in case of activation of the Isolation center.

Purpose: Provide nursing care, treatment and follow-up of COVID-19 patients in the isolation center, according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care

Activities: Implement hygiene standards/ precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, and other protocols, carry out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients, assessment of the evolution of their state of health and the identification of any emergency situation or deterioration.

Requirements: Recognized Nurse degree/diploma, 2 years of previous experience, experience in supervising others in a team setting, Arabic essential, English desirable
