Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)

Contracting with, as far as possible, a service provider for delivering a MARINA SERVICE TRAINING

1. BACKGROUND

Safadi Foundation is launching the second phase of its Accelerated Vocational Training Centre for the Socio-Economic inclusion in the North. The project’s main overall objective is to stimulate sustainable economic participation of vulnerable youth to promote their inclusion in the development of marginalized communities. In the long-term, inclusion can transform youth socio-economic outlook making them active participants in decreasing unemployment rates and increasing their household income. The specific objective of this project will be to develop youth employability through comprehensive training programmes. Target beneficiaries will have access to accelerated market-based training and self-development programs that will prepare them to increase their competitiveness in the skilled labour market. Finally, the project will aim to strengthen private sector and national actor engagement in active labour market programmes, by participating in developing an effective labour programme leading to significant reduction in identified skills gap. Through this project, SF is planning to conduct Heavy Machinery courses that includes the know-how of operating heavy machinery simulator of which all trainees will be receiving tool kits that will enable them to practice what they learnt after course ends.

2. OBJECTIVE

Safadi Foundation is seeking to identify and pre-select potential SERVICE PROVIDER capable of providing and delivering a MARINA SERVICE TRAINING . Interested Applicants are requested to send Expression of Interest (EOI) highlighting their capacities in the following fields:

1. RENT OF BOAT (The Rented Boat will be needed for the practical training of beneficiaries so that they are able to apply the techniques they are given in theoretical sessions) 15 DAYS.
2. Marina tools, materials and kits for 30 Beneficiaries
3. Providing Manuals and Curriculum for 100 hours practical training / 4hrs a day / 15 benef .
4. Providing Full Support Service.
5. Providing Scuba Diving Certification for all beneficiaries.

3. KEY CONSIDERATIONS

This call is opened to qualified, nationally based companies, fulfilling the pre-selection criteria defined below:

• Should be Registered under the Lebanese rules and regulations
• Only those with a strong, proven track record of performance and quality in this field are encouraged to participate. (If possible, share brochures, flyers, etc.)
• Should be able to provide the requested services within the area of Tripoli
