Lebanese Programmers Association

The Lebanese Programmers Association (LPA) objectives: - Increase the staff level in programming and information fields. - Create a committee to exchange expertise between members to benefit from the big expertise of the staff each in her/his own field. - Prepare seminars and conferences to train staff to the newest technology in their fields. - Work on eliminating the technological illiteracy of the community by organizing general and specialized training in all programming and information fields. - Organize specialized training to help schools' and universities' students. - Present information researches and solutions to some of the problems in the public and private sectors. - Present the necessary researches about the information sector and the market demand to support and encourage the establishment of small enterprises in the information field. - Organize forums to introduce and encourage investors to invest in information and technology sectors in Lebanon. - Activate the information subject in schools and institutions to keep up with the latest technological developments. - Secure licenses to supported software for members and students, which encourage and facilitate studying and researching, and raise the scientific level. - Help in giving scholarships (higher education) in the information sector for brilliant students in this major to benefit from their expertise.
