PROJECT MANAGER

ACCOMPANIMENT PROJECT

Since 2016 ACT, in partnership with the ICRC, is implementing the project "Accompaniment of the Families of the Missing in Lebanon" to support and engage the families of the missing and disappeared in all the Lebanese regions. The project provides a variety of support mechanisms through home visits, needs assessments, case referrals to service providers, information sessions , mental health and psychosocial (MHPSS) group sessions as well as memorialization/commemoration activities.

ACT seeks a Project Manager for the project with minimum of 5 years experience in project management and with a background in Psychology or Social Work. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Overview the project implementation and budget utilization, ensuring consistency with partner agreement
  • Supervise the local Accompaniers 
  • Coordinate  with partners
  • Supervise the accompaniers and ensure a close follow up on the activities
  • Train and coach the accompaniers with the support of the project coordinator 
  • Prepare the narrative and financial reports 
  • Ensure monitoring and evaluation of the project
  • Coordinate the organization of public events and publications related to the project
  • Ensure communication of the project 
  • Store and archive all documentation related to the projects 
  • Represent ACT in public events when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

YOUR PROFILE

  • Advanced university degree in psychology
  • Five years experience in Project Management 
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Excellent written and spoken command of Arabic & English
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
