LINQ Technical Field Officer

The Technical Field Officer supports and contributes to the success of Component 1, Technical Assistance Provision to Enhance Growth of Lebanese Agri-Food Entities and Increase Competitiveness of Value Chains and Component 2, Facilitate Technology Upgrading through Investment Partnerships and Grants. The Technical Officer is part of the LINQ Technical Team who work directly with farmers and businesses, monitoring training and consultancy activities offered to firms and other stakeholders in the agricultural and food industry and targeted fresh fruits, food processing, and dairy sub-sectors. 

The Technical Field Officer will oversee and document the delivery and installation of equipment and tools donated to partners and will assist in collecting reports and documents to verify progress and the impact of the LINQ technical support and capacity building interventions, and the results of partnerships. Generally, the incumbent will visit field locations to coordinate the project’s support activities for a partner and facilitate the work of specialist consultants and trainers to work directly with the partners. The Technical Field Officer reports to a Technical Coordinator.
