Al Makassed is seeking to recruit a Midwife for Wadi Khaled Dispensary.
- Main tasks & duties:
Monitor and examine women during pregnancy
Develop, assess and evaluate individual programs of care
Provide full antenatal care, including screening tests in Wadi Khaled PHC
Identify high risk pregnancies and make referrals to doctors and other medical specialists
Arrange and provide parenting and health education
Supervise and assist mothers in labour and birth, monitor the condition of the foetus and apply knowledge of drugs and pain management
Give support and advice on the daily care of the baby, including breastfeeding, bathing
- Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Midwifery, Minimum 2 years of experience, Work Permit, Registered in the Syndicate of Midwives in Lebanon.
