Context & Background

 

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

 

The Accelerator Program's mission is to nurture and grow disruptive ideas, proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics:

  1. A disruptive scientific or technological focus in the agri-food sector.
  2. The possibility to scale beyond the local market
  3. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally

 

Scope of work                

 

The Agrytech Accelerator Program seeks a Sales & Marketing Expert to conduct a series of 1:1 meetings with startup founders in order to help them develop a solid Go-To-Market Strategy deliverable.

 In particular, the expert will be required – during the 1:1 sessions with the startup founders:

  1. To review the existing Sales & Marketing strategy
  2. To make sure it is aligned with the startup’s overall strategic objectives, its target market,  and the nature of its product or service
  3. To review the target market’s estimation
  4. To support the startup founders in order to identify:
    1. Their selected sales channels with a rationale for each
    2. Their sales targets for every selected sales channel – make sure they are both ambitious and realistic vs. the company’s resources
    3. Their marketing channels with a rationale for each
    4. The marketing related targets (e.g. # of leads, # of customers, CPC, CTR, etc.)
    5. The needed tactics and messages they need to focus on for every channel
    6. KPIs to assess the success of every channel
  5. To support the startup in developing creative testing plans

 

The expert will also be required to oversee the preparation of the Go-To-Market Strategy for every startup by:

  1. Giving each startup a general framework for the development of the Go-To-Market Strategy
  2. Developing with the startup an action plan including research that the founders have to complete in order to strengthen their Go-To-Market strategy deliverable
  3. Reviewing the final deliverable of every startup and providing feedback if need be
  4. Suggesting improvements based on every startup’s deliverables
Qualifications

 

  • Proven work experience in Sales & Marketing
  • Proven experience in setting Go-To-Market Strategies
  • Proven experience in managing online campaigns
  • Experience working with early-stage startups
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strategic in thikining and analytical in execution
