Logistic Officer

Scope of Work:

1. Move inventory and materials across the Central Drugs warehouse and process inventory for delivery.
2. Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location, package items and label correctly.
3. Stack and organize large bulk items and remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location.
4. Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
5. Move materials from the warehouse to recipients.
6. Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the MoPH and wear safety gear at all times.
7. Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
8. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles.
9. Work as an active team member to complete team goals
10. Any other tasks as required by the Head of the PHC Department.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Education:

• High school degree or equivalent.

 Knowledge and Experience:

• License or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery as needed.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physically able to perform what is requested during the course of the shift.
• Able to work night, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently.
• Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory.
• Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.
