M&E Officer - Emergency Response

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Program Managers and Senior Management in the development of systemic and realistic monitoring plans that utilize quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators
• Develop plans for the monitoring of project activities and progress towards achieving the project’s targets, goals, and objectives
• Develop appropriate monitoring and impact indicators to measure the efficacy of programs implemented within the organization
• Design and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework for proposed projects
• Train staff in using Monitoring and Evaluation tools to ensure that all tools and processes are understood
• Conduct research in order to collect and analyze data for the production of program reports
• Develop a process and tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting for project staff
• Participate in the collection of data through the creation of surveys, as well as organizing focus groups, and interviews with beneficiaries or target communities
• Cooperate with Project Manager in order to create monthly, quarterly, and final reports on findings and lessons learned through data collection and analysis
• Contribute to the development of programs and proposals by developing logical frameworks and measurable indicators
• Contribute to the capacity building of the organization by designing and establish a monitoring and evaluation system and strategy
