- Assessing and planning nursing care requirements.
- Distributing drugs according to the medical prescription.
- Providing patients and their families with guidance on the treatment intake and on the side effects.
- Building relationships, reassuring, listening, and talking to patients. As well as combating stigma and helping patients and their families deal with it
- Assessing treatment success at case conferences and meetings
- Writing and updating patient records.
- Participating actively in the monitoring and the reporting of medical activities
- In emergency cases, referral/ accompany/ follow-up of the patient to higher-level care.
- Presenting monthly reports to coordinators
- Conducting health education sessions
