The Communication/Visibility Officer will execute the various functions according to the responsibilities below and will accommodate necessary adjustments as required by the project review work plans.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the project manager to design a strategy of communication and visibility activities
• Manage the organization’s social media in line with its vision, goals and policies.
• Prepare and periodically update the project website and social media
• Prepare project fact sheets, periodic newsletters, other written materials for general public
• Plan and coordinate public events, such as round tables, press conferences...
• Translate materials from Arabic into English and vice versa
• Contribute to the regular project reporting through media coverage
• Coordinate with other team members in order to obtain timely information and update
• Report the completed tasks to the supervisor
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the project manager  

Required Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree or its equivalent social sciences, arts or related fields.
• 2-5 years of experience in public relations, marketing and/or journalism.
• Documented evidence working with organizations supporting human rights, youth engagement and increased participation in public affairs.
• Fluency in the English and Arabic languages spoken and written.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in promoting the social campaigns using different media channels.
