Call for a Piano Trainer

Peace of Art is looking for a piano trainer who has 3 years of experience in teaching piano. This will be a 2-months contract-based part time position. The piano Trainer will provide 32 hours of training to 25 youth (16- 29 years old). Youth will be divided to 2 groups of 12-13 participants, and each group will receive 16 hours(2 hours per week for each group, 2 months).

Youth will acquire the basic skills for note reading and writing, piano keys and scales, fingering techniques and durations.

Youth will also learn basic scales and most used chords and accompaniment chord progressions which they will be able to perform in a final event.

Trainer will be required to submit weekly reports on the performance of youth, lessons learned and the impact of the training.

Digital piano and keybords will be provided to be used within the training sessions.

Trainer is also required to follow up with youth's works and mentor them to be able to perform basic pieces for a closing ceremony.
