Research Project Coordinator

The recruited individual will work closely with the research team to meet the project objectives. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Planning with the Co-investigators the research design, methods, work schedules, data collection and analysis and deliverables of the research project
• Ensuring that the overall requirements and deliverables of the research project are met in a timely manner
• Carrying out the research tasks in a timely and effective manner
• Identifying potential problems and bringing them to the attention of the Co-Is and Program Coordinator for discussion
• Being able to act independently to take forward assigned tasks
• Contributing to manuscript writing for publication and dissemination of results
• Liaising with relevant stakeholders to the project

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a health-related field, with at least 2 years of research experience in global health, public health, health systems, or other related fields
• Experience in preparing research tools (surveys, questionnaires..) and completing all necessary documentation to ensure that research meets the ethical IRB guidelines
• Proven experience in performing field data collection and analysis, in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Advanced writing skills and excellent manuscript write up, presentation, and documentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic
• Proven excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Public engagement experience is a plus
