Social worker - Consultancy

  1. Conduct a comprehensive primary assessment evaluating the family needs and resources’ availability and agree with the Psy on clear outcome. 
  2. Draft  the action plan and update the objectives  with the Psy all along:
  • The assessment
  • The intervention
  • The revision
  • The closure
  1. Follow up on cases strategies and objectives  with the whole family:
  • Conduct meetings  with the assigned Psy to follow up on  the cases  they are handling
  • Conduct bi-monthly meeting with the SCM to follow up on the case’s action plan implementation.
  • Conduct home visits with clear objectives of assessment according to case situation.
  • Refer families to appropriate services internal or external and other NGOs when needed.
  1. Submit reports to SCM respecting deadlines and standards
  2. Provide tailored group support for parents and children according in line with the program set

 Profeciency in group approach
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
 Ability to work under pressure and hard situations
 Ability to work in a multi-professional team while remaining within his or her area of expertise
 Interpersonal and communication skills
 Preferably Familiarity with child protection and implemented laws in Lebanon
 Able to collect, analyze and synthesize information in order to apply and support intervention methods and techniques
 Know how to transmit written and / or oral information to the various professionals and hierarchical referents
 Willingness to update their professional knowledge and skills
