case worker volunteer - Beirut emergency project

Scope of work

UPEL is looking to recruit volunteers willing to help and support fulfill its mission.

The case worker volunteer will be supporting the case worker and social worker with daily tasks ranging from but not limited to:

• Conducting home visits
• Collecting information for medium cases
• Attending preliminary investigations
• Providing clerical support: filing, scanning, etc.
• Transmitting juridical decisions
• Finalizing any administrative work found needed

Payment Rate and Schedule:

This person will be needed at least 2 days per week.

The volunteering is unpaid, but the volunteer will be offered transportation and recharge cards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Socio-medical work
• Minimal work experience – internships in similar positions
• Ability to work in a fast-pathed environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Confidential
• High ethical standards
