Mercy Corps - Tender 461 - Market System Assessment

With funding from the Madad EU Trust Fund, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Mercy Corps, Oxfam in Lebanon and Al Majmoua, hereinafter the LINKED consortium, are implementing a comprehensive livelihoods program to contribute to sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic development in Lebanon, by ensuring the following: that vulnerable Syrian and Lebanese households (HH) have enhanced capacities to identify and pursue decent livelihoods pathways, that access to employment opportunities of vulnerable job seekers is improved through enhanced marketable skills and linkages with employers, and that capacities of selected local businesses are strengthened to provide decent, inclusive and sustainable income generation opportunities. The program will provide referral and protection services, facilitate access to vocational training and apprenticeships, and strengthen micro, small, and medium-sized businesses in several sectors. It will also seek to work with Job Platforms and Business Development service providers to develop products that are adapted to the needs of the target population while being financially interesting for the private actors. The key to a successful sustainable program will be to establish partnerships and linkages with private and/or public sector providers of services.
