Title: Consultancy for Animation Videos Production
Type of contract: Individual Consultant(s) and/or Agency Contract
Duration of contract: 30 working days
Reports to: Project Officer
Summary:
ABAAD – Resource Center for Gender Equality, in its partnership with UN Women and Care International, under its We Can Together project aims at producing animation videos. These videos will be animations – inspired by the “Marriage is a Not a Game” video that ABAAD had developed, narrated from both the refugee and host-community perspective.
These videos are to be 90-100 seconds long that will be used for E-Awareness and E-PSS sessions, can be used post-COVID as sensitization materials, and will also be posted via social media platforms and website. Awareness raising videos are a powerful tool that can promote sustainable change in vulnerable communities, and it is through this preamble that ABAAD is seeking to produce 6 animation videos that are to be used to disseminate awareness messages that act as preventive methods to gender social norms that promote inequality and violence, among refugee and host community members, especially during the current pandemic and after the Beirut Blast.
ABAAD will produce 6 animation videos on the following 6 themes respectively:
- Parenting skills during the Beirut Blast (BB) and Covid-19
- Communication with Children during the BB and Covid-19
