Illustrator

General objective of the job

The Illustrator is responsible to draw corresponding sketches to the Caregiver Support Intervention manual.

Position in the organisation

The illustrator is part of the CSI team reporting to the Research Coordinator.

S/he does not manage staff.

Result areas

• CSI Manuals are available in English and Arabic. The illustrator needs to sketch a number of illustrations that give a visual representation of the essence of the manual.

Coordination and Support

• S/he will receive all the necessary documents and support from the RC.

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor or equivalent degree in Graphic Design.

Previous experience working as an illustrator, preferably with iNGOs.

Basic knowledge of child development.

Ready to meet very tight deadlines.

Skills and Competencies

Fluency in Arabic and English

Advanced knowledge of design softwares

Flexibility

Cultural sensitivity

Familiarity with psychosocial programming;

Positive, respectful attitude and collaborative approach.

Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members;

Timeline

Contract duration: part-time work during the month of October 2020.

Required Starting Date: ASAP. The position will be filled on a rolling basis.

Duty Station: Beirut
