Responsibilities
- Carry out qualitative and quantitative research and report on key findings.
- Contribute to desk and field research and complete research tasks.
- Gather, manage, store, process, visualise and analyse socioeconomic data and produce appropriate output.
- Respond to internal and external consultations as needed.
- Document work throughout projects, provide progress metrics and drafts reports.
- Support planning and project deliverables and follow up on tasks.
- Meet with various stakeholders when relevant, prepare briefings and minutes.
- Coordinate with other team members and take part in team meetings.
- Deliver research and market intelligence as needed to support the project bid writing process.
- Feed in and work with the communications team for project outreach.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Degree in social sciences or equivalent.
- Excellent command of written, read and spoken Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Strong data management and manipulation skills.
- Ability to work independently and perform well under-pressure.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain positive internal and external relationships.
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
- Availability for missions outside Beirut.
- Experience in public sector reform and general understanding of policy and the funding environment.
- Experience and understanding of primary and secondary research.
- Evidence of good attention to detail and data accuracy.
