Videographer

Position Summary

Under Partners for Justice project that is being implemented in partnership with ABAAD, Search is looking for a Videographer who will work closely with the Project Manager, the Communications Manager and 30 youth representatives to make a video documentary. The video aims at shedding the light on the local partnerships made within the project, and it will also serve as a documentation of the success that took place so far with the youth participating in the project. With that being said, the Videographer will have to move across different areas in Lebanon (North (Tripoli - Akkar), Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Bekaa (Al Kaa - Arsal) and South (Saida - Nabatieh - Tyre)) where the project is being implemented in order to film the youth. The main idea of the video is to give the youth representatives the opportunity to audio visually share what they have learned so far as participants in the project, and to share their ideas on how they will be transferring the knowledge and the skills they acquired to benefit their communities and raise awareness on issues and assumptions related to the social constructions of masculinities so that men and boys become allies and champions of gender equality and prevention of violence against women and girls. The video will be posted on Search website and social media platforms.

Deadline to deliver the documentary and communication materials is December 31, 2020.
