• Summary of Tasks:  

- Conduct follow-up home visits and phone calls

- Provide information, emotional support and reassurance to women and their partners

- Provide weekly ANC IYCF awareness sessions at the PHC

- Conduct counselling sessions on breastfeeding, challenges and re-lactation

• Key skills:

- Possess technical and practical skills related to breastfeeding positions, challenges, techniques 

- Ability to deal with emotionally challenging situations
- Excellent teamworking skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively communicate with people from different backgrounds
- Strong observational skills
- An interest in the process of pregnancy and birth
- Flexibility and adaptability
