Field Officer (Tripoli)

IOCC is looking for a full time Outreach / Distribution field officer to be part of the emergency intervention in North Lebanon. The field officer will be ensuring that the most vulnerable groups of the community are selected for receiving food assistance. The field officer is also responsible for delivering food and keeping record of all the beneficiary delivery forms.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

1. Coordinate with SDCs and local authorities for primary information and potential lists of beneficiaries.
2. Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and identify the targeted number of families who are eligible for food assistance.
3. Document the list of beneficiary families with their contacts and the justification of selection.
4. Lead the distribution of food pots to families –from and back to the kitchen- throughout the days of distribution
5. Monitor the distribution of food pots to families by collecting families’ signatures upon receiving the food pots.
6. Control the number of pots to be distributed and the empty pots to be brought back to the kitchen.
7. Conduct awareness sessions and activities addressing different topics.
8. Conduct informal oral evaluations with families regarding the food quality/ taste, and transmit the information to the program coordinator for adjustment.
9. Submit regular reports to the Senior Program Coordinator.
10. Monitor activities and conduct PDMs and End line/ Satisfaction Questionnaires
11. Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• Some prior knowledge on community development would be an asset

• Experience in planning awareness activities and campaigns
• Well Organized

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of work experience
• Previous experience in working with vulnerable families
• Practical working experience in assistance services (food, health, hygiene, etc…)
• Previous experience in planning and conducting activities with women and children

Working Conditions

Field based with visits to the office.
