Project Coordinator

THE JOB
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to assist in the positive development GAME Lebanon is going through. You will become a team member of the office in Beirut with joint responsibility for scaling the impact through partnerships and project. You will be leading the implementation of ‘Lebanon’s Youth Building Dreams’ LYBD project.

YOU WILL GET

• Responsibility for management and follow with our GAME volunteers (Playmakers and Dream Builders) working in GAME Zones across the country 
• Chance to coordinate with our partner for a successful implementation of the ‘Lebanon’s Youth Building Dreams’ LYBD project. 
• A chance to plan and implement events with our Playmakers and Dream Builders
• The opportunity to build strong relations with local actors (Municipalities, partners, CBO’s etc.) and take part in widening civic space in Lebanon by creating and activating public spaces for Street Sports 
• A unique experience in coordinating an innovative Sports for Development project 

YOU HAVE

• Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience 
• At least 4 years of experience in managing volunteers, working with NGO’s and/or sports organizations 
• Strong skills in project planning and management and coordination skills and experience with a variety of stakeholders
• Passionate about social change and/or sports 
• Experience with and/or interest in advocacy and/or youth engagement for social change
• Focused on the power of teamwork 
• Eagerness to work for an international organization and contribute to its growth through participation in cross-cutting teams
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Arabic and English (verbal and written) 
• Ability to handle large workload and include director in prioritization 
• Experience in managing team members 
• Experience in financial and administrative processes 
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning
• Experience in organizing events 
• A driver’s license 

ONBOARDING DATE 

March 1st ,2021. The position is fulltime with occasional weekend and evening work depending on project’s activities (such as overseeing events). The position is time limited to the duration of the project (27 months) with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding.

GAME Lebanon’s office in Beirut.
