Social Worker for Chiyah Health Center (Schedule: Mondays to Fridays from 8am till 2pm; Saturdays from 8am till 1pm)

Main Role

The Social Worker will be conducting Community activities and support Chiyah Health Center in implementing the community plan of action and delivering of supported services. He/She  regularly coordinates with LRC staff in the center  to ensure the efficient and relevant medical and  social services are provided to local community.

Main operational duties and tasks:

Direct project implementation

• Introduce the project for local authorities in the targeted area and to beneficiaries in the center.
• Plan and coordinate activities in local community to introduce the project.
• Organize field activities to connect the external community to the center.
• Support the mental health team in implementing the mental health services program at the center.
• Cooperate with the International Orthodox Christian Association for humanitarian charitable work and provide it with what it’s needed for the implementation of the program at the center.
• Monitor the execution of the activities related to the project in the center.
