Child Care attendant

AND will be participating in components 1 and 3 of the Shabake project as a recipient of capacity building support services in addition to integration into the aid ecosystem in Lebanon. It will contribute to the realization of the component 1 and 3 objectives through active participation in the design and implementation of both component activities, and it will also be designing and leading on the implementation of a Vulnerability Reduction Project (VRP), within component 2 of the Shabake project, in order to demonstrate the integration of acquired capacities from component 1.

Areas of Responsibility:

The main task to be completed by the child care attendant shall be:

• Provides a clean, safe and fun child care environment.
• Checks infants and children in and out while providing basic child care.
• Ensures safe play conditions and follows established security procedures.
• Observes specific parent directions for feeding, nap times, and special needs.
• Observes infants’ specific needs and report when intervention is needed.   
• Participate to the trainings as required by AND   

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in attending to children
• Fluent in spoken Arabic
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Reporting

The provider of services shall report to the Project Manager.
