Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities
Establish and carry out a daily activity schedule that incorporates child directed activity, care routines and transition times
Organize space, equipment and materials before activities
Assist children in expressing themselves by listening and responding with questions or comments that extend conversations
Use a variety of teaching techniques including , observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing
Encourage and assist children to practice self-help daily
Observing each child to help him improve its social competencies and build his self-esteem.
Provide opportunity for child directed play experience
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
Plan and carry out activities that encourage problem solving
Provide experiences and play materials that actively promote diversity and acceptance in interactions and attitudes
Learn and use the activities and skills provided to assist children in developing the necessary coping skills for addressing unique life issues
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. (when back to centers)
Ensure positive communication with parents
Plan for parents sessions
Discuss the programs events and the child’s progress with parents
Encourage parents to participate whenever possible
Necessary experience:
Require skills:
Proven experience as a Teacher
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to build trust and positive relationships with families in the program
Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
BA in education or relevant field
Valid license to practice profession
