CodeBrave is recruiting a Tech Education Manager to oversee CodeBrave’s Tech Education projects in Lebanon. We are looking for a leader with a background or strong interest in education, child psychology, technology and management. The role has significant opportunity for growth and therefore we are looking for someone that is excited about becoming a leader in this field. 

Candidates must have exceptional people skills, communication skills and spoken and written English language.

Areas Of Responsibility

The Tech Education Manager’s duties will include:

Partnerships: Identify potential core project partners; Set up partnerships (MoUs, policy signing); Maintain partner relationship (check-ins)

Curriculum: Oversee the design of the coding and robotics curriculum, work-experience simulation programme, and “Step-Out” programme that links students with internships and mentorship

Project Management: Oversee the Project Managers and support where necessary with logistics and procurement

Monitoring & Evaluation: Support the design of monitoring and evaluation strategy for the projects

Board Management: Plan and host Lebanon Board meetings alongside the Director

HR: Conduct second round interviews alongside the Director

Teaching Staff Coaching: Observe classes periodically and provide instant feedback; Motivate and support staff

Culture: Demonstrate CodeBrave’s organizational culture through your behaviour; Deliver Culture trainings alongside the Director

Teacher Training: Deliver training sessions on Teaching Methodology, Child Psychology and Child Safeguarding using existing materials and support the update of the materials

Fundraising: Support CodeBrave Foundation staff on fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns including developing content and recording vlogs 

Salary

1500-2000 USD (fresh) per month depending on experience.
