Makassed Hospital is seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse.

Job Objective : Identify and carry out all patient’s nursing care with high level of provided services.

Main Tasks: 

• Check narcotic medications at every shift
• Provide needed support to all patients taking into consideration his/ her physical, psychological and safety needs
• Prepare necessary equipment and assist in diagnostic tests and therapeutic measure
• Carry out medical treatment as assigned by physicians
• Provide medication to patients as assigned by physicians
• Receive patients to floor
• Prepare patient and chart for operation
• Receive patients from recovery room
• Answer all patients’ calls
• Provide needed teaching to patients and family members
• Assist in discharge or transfer of patients
• Respond to emergency medical cases with promptness and proper judgment
• Know how to use all hospital/ department medical equipments
• Ensure to maintain a quiet and clean environment for patients
• Observe patients’ response to therapy and note all changes in medical status and report to In-Charge Nurse and physician when needed
• Participate in monitor the visiting hours
• Start an infusion, calculate and maintain its proper rate of flow
• Ensure tidiness of department before end of shift
• Participate in planning team members duties in collaboration with In-Charge Nurse
• Oversee the work of team members and ensure excellent quality of care provided
• Consult with physicians to plan needed care for patients, in coordination with In-Charge Nurse
• Perform round on patients and ensure stability of medical status
• Prepare accurate report on patients cases and conditions
• Note all medical orders
• Assist new employees in developing their knowledge and nursing skills
• Prepare new employee’s duties in coordination with In-Charge Nurse
• Assess new employees performance and propose improvement actions to In-Charge Nurse
• Perform all Practical nurse tasks, when needed
• Perform additional related duties as requested by In-Charge Nurse

- Requirements:   

- Bachelor Degree in Nursing 

- License to practice in Lebanon

- Candidates Should be flexible to work all shifts and all floors

- Candidates should be ready to start effective May 3rd 2021
