Senior Program coordinator

Fe-Male is a civil feminist collective working with women and girls to eliminate injustice through building young feminist movement, empowering agents of change, and campaigning together against discriminatory norms and policies.

 

Essential Job responsibilities

  • Oversee Programme quality of current and proposed projects;
  • Ensure compliance of current & proposed projects, including Donor reporting;
  • Lead the designing and drafting project/grant proposals as relevant;
  • Plan and coordinate proactively logistics and movements of staff from and to different operational areas;
  • Representing Fe-Male as part of the implementation of activities to donors and stakeholders; attending relevant conferences, networks and coordination- and donor meetings;
  • Budget planning, review and follow-up and reporting in collaboration with Project’s officer and Finance officer;
  • Develops and maintains tools for proper communication between functions and departments; 
  • Responsible for preparing the organization annual report and for the follow up on communication content about Fe-Male
  • Ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of projects;
  • Facilitates the capacity building of program team to ensure they have the appropriate skill levels for their positions and are developing to their full capacity;
  • Implements policies and procedures that guide and support Fe-Male’s activities;
  • To manage other team members;
  •  Ensures compliance with Fe-Male’s code of conduct, gender and child protection policies.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Programme development and monitoring;
• Master’s degree in political sciences, international relations, social sciences or another related field;
• Strong experience in Project design and planning, both on programmatic and financial levels;
• knowledge in gender and familiarity with the human rights and feminist work approaches;
• Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English is mandatory;
• Excellent ability to write proposals, reports, briefing papers and research in English;
• Excellent skills in time management and problem solving;
• Experience working on projects targeting adolescents and youth, especially adolescent girls and young women is preferred;
