Environment Program Manager

General objectives & tasks:

1. Ensure the research and strategic development of the program:

  • Define and support the short, medium and long term strategy of the program with the program management.
  • Define and support the monitoring and research activities of the program with the appropriate teams.
  • Propose, as part of the strategy, new activities in the form of pilot projects and put them in place.
  • Ensure fundraising for the development of new activities.
  • Establish a link with national and international institutions in the sector for the strategic development of the program.
  • Supervise the preparation and participation in exhibitions and conferences in order to develop projects and adapt strategy.
  • Disseminate successful experiences at the national level by proposing laws with a sustainable aspect in collaboration with the legal unit and based on the strategy, vision and mission of the association with the head of programs.

2. Facilitate the activities of the program in the centers:

  • Design tools (norms, procedures, standards, KPIs, monitoring and control tools, etc.) to empower activities.
  • Train units in the tools developed.
  • Ensure the control and audit of activities.
  • Capitalize and disseminate the know-how of the activities.

3. Ensure communication for the activities and the program:

  • Define, with the departments concerned, a communication strategy for the activities.
  • Support this strategy to develop activities.
  • Develop contacts with ministries, supervisory administrations, constituted bodies [existing or to be created] and carry out lobbying.

4. Administer and develop the program:

  • Define and monitor the program budget.
  • Determine franchise opportunities.
  • Oversee the progress reports of the pilot projects and control them.
  • Supervise and train program volunteers.
  • Ensure that the culture and the rainbow spirit are spread.
  • Submit to the general manager a consolidated annual activity report of all his activities in order to obtain a discharge and renew his accreditation and his franchises.
  • Present to the general manager an annual operating and development action plan as well as a consolidated budget for all his activities and have them validated.

  • Knowledge of accounting, financial and HR tools.
  • Very good knowledge of the environments in which arcenciel operates: NGOs and associations, political environment(politicians, bodies constituted, international organizations), private sector.
  • Knowledge of the market and the players, strong links with academia and business.

Working schedule: Monday till Friday from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm.

Contract Type: 1 year (renewable).
