Education Program Officer

General objectives and tasks:

1- Assist the Program Coordinator in the implementation of youth projects in different centers:

• Assist in the coordination and monitor project activities according to the grant agreements and quality standards.
• Assist in monitoring the implementation process to ensure the achievement of project deliverables in terms of cost, time and quality.
• Record, highlight and report project issues and escalate to program coordinators when necessary.
• Conduct regular field visits.
• Follow-up frequently on project development and progress to ensure compliance and proper implementation of activities.
• Present monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to the program coordinator.
• Assist the youth program coordinator in budget writing for future projects.

2- Support of Rainbow Clubs units in different centers:

• Identify beneficiaries' needs on field and try to meet these needs through arcenciel’s services.
• Identify the impact areas of each activity through collecting and analyzing data and therefore measuring the impact.
• Think of concrete solutions to help field workers and propose recommendations to improve the performance of the unit.
• Outreach youth at risk in coordination with the social unit.
• Build networks with community stakeholders (schools, parishes ...) to promote voluntary activities and community development.
• Train animators on building and implementing projects.

Position Requirements:

Working schedule: Monday till Friday from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. Additional hours required during visits to Rainbow Clubs units till 7:00 pm.

Contract type: CDD: 1 year.
