Human Resources Coordinator

Main Role

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible to support the HR Manager in guiding and leading LRC’s Human Resources practices to ensure that all Sectors/Sections and branches have the necessary human resources to meet organization needs. The HR Coordinator will support the HR Manager in planning, developing and implementing the HR strategy and HR policies and procedures.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of LRC HR Strategy.
  2. Maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure they are updated, documented and communicated as per guidance from HR Manager.
  3. Ensure LRC’s compliance with all legal and governmental procedures pertaining to all staffing matters.
  4. Handle the implementation of LRC recruitment plan and support in the recruitment process as needed.
  5. Conduct interviews as needed with related Sectors and Sections Director/Manager and ensure proper recruitment reports and interview evaluations are conducted.
  6. Develop employment contracts and job offers and ensure conformity with legal standards.
  7. Support HR Manager in implementation of onboarding policies and procedures for new joiners
  8. Support as needed in drafting and maintaining job descriptions.
  9. Ensure HR legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements in accordance with the Lebanese Labor Law; maintain records and represent the organization in hearing as and when needed.
  10. Support in the implementation of the performance management process and ensure its proper execution across the Sectors/Sections.
  11. Support in managing individual development programs and guide the Sectors/Sections Directors/Managers on conducting training needs analyses and developing training plans and budgets.
  12. Support HR Manager in leading and directing Sectors and Sections Directors/Managers towards retaining and developing staff.
  13. Assist HR Manager in conducting exit interviews and prepare reports of reasons for resignations periodically as necessary.
  14. Lead the implementation of the HRIS “SAP Success Factors” modules.
  15. Support and train employees on the use of the HRIS.

 

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a trainer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on an HRIS and previous experience implementing HRIS is a plus.
  • Experience in talent management
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures
  • Knowledge in the Lebanese Labor Law
  • Preferred experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations
