Gynecologist

Basmeh and Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

Job Purpose: Gynecologist will be responsible for disseminating awareness to the targeted married girls on issues relating to pregnancy, fertility, menstruation, and menopause. family planning, including contraception, sterilization, and pregnancy termination in Shatila and Borj Al Baajneh centers “One person in each” in Beirut refugees’ Palestinian camps for both Syrian and Palestinian beneficiaries for a period of 4 months, starting June 2021 till September 2021.

Major Activities : 

• Delivering 3 physical sessions along with the project in the center for each group out of 12.
• Follow up over WhatsApp groups for consultancies.
• Information provision on resources of medical supplements and use instructions.
• Regular reports highlighting challenges and successes. 
• To immediately report on any protection-related concerns to the direct line manager.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line manager.

• Women promoting a built trust and well aware of the concerned issues.
• Sessions are well managed.
• A number of successful follow-ups with the girls.
• A number of detected protection concerns.
• Reports are well-prepared and shared
